Data Deletion Instructions

Prompt Solutions is committed to protecting your privacy and giving you control over your data. This page explains how to request deletion of your personal data, including data obtained through connected Facebook services.

You can request deletion of your data at any time through the client request page or by contacting our support team. We process all deletion requests within 30 days as required by data protection regulations.

When you connect your Facebook account to Prompt Solutions, we may collect and store the following information:

• OAuth Access Tokens: Secure tokens that allow Prompt Solutions to access your connected accounts
• Business Page Information: Page name, ID, and profile details for connected business pages
• Social Media Content: Posts, images, and engagement metrics that you choose to sync
• Account Identifiers: Facebook user IDs associated with your business

This data is used solely to provide our social media synchronisation features and is never sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Option A: Contact Support or Use the Client Request Page

The fastest way to delete your data is to contact Prompt Solutions directly. Where a client request action is available, use the request form and specify the data you want removed:

1. Disconnect Social Accounts: Ask us to disconnect any connected social account and remove related OAuth tokens or cached social media content.
2. Delete Service Data: Request removal of Facebook, account, or support data associated with your Prompt Solutions services.
3. Delete Your Account: Request permanent removal of your Prompt Solutions account and associated personal data, subject to legal record-keeping obligations.

Option B: Contact Support

If you prefer, you can request data deletion by contacting our support team:

Please include your account email address and specify whether you want to delete only social media data or your entire account. We will process your request and send confirmation within 30 days.

Option C: Request via Facebook Settings

You can also request deletion directly through Facebook:

1. Go to your Facebook Settings
2. Navigate to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites
3. Find Prompt Solutions in your connected apps
4. Click "Remove" and select "Delete posts, photos and videos on Facebook that Prompt Solutions may have published on your behalf"
5. Click "Send Request" to notify us of your deletion request

When you submit a deletion request through Facebook, we receive an automated notification and will process your request promptly.

When Disconnecting Social Accounts

• OAuth access tokens and refresh tokens
• Cached social media content (posts, images, metrics)
• Connected service records

Note: Your Prompt Solutions account remains active. You can reconnect your social accounts at any time.

When Deleting Your Account

• All social media connections and tokens
• Business profile information
• Gallery images and comparisons
• Contact form submissions
• Change requests and history
• Review request records
• Your user account and authentication data

After a deletion request is processed:

• Social media data is deleted immediately upon disconnection
• Account data is permanently removed within 30 days
• Backup copies are purged within 90 days
• Some records may be retained for legal compliance (e.g., billing records for 7 years as required by Australian tax law)
